Dr. Manuel Molina is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine. He continued his graduate studies at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. At Boston University, he finished his Advanced Studies in Periodontology and Dental Implantology; he also obtained a Master's degree in Oral Biology and Oral Cancer. He was involved in research projects regarding inflammatory markers and cytokines in the periodontal tissue and published in a Cancer Research Journal.
Dr. Molina is a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Pre-doctoral Periodontology Department at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He supervises and instructs students in all aspects of periodontal disease and treatment. He is an active member of the Puerto Rico Iniciativas de Paz International team. He works abroad with his wife, providing dental services to indigent populations in developing countries. Dr. Molina is passionate about periodontology and dental implantology and remains current on the latest techniques and treatment services, attending multiple professional conferences every year. Remaining abreast of new practices enables him to provide the most effective preventative services and dental care to all his patients. He is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. Molina enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and dog. He also enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and the outdoors.
